How long will it take between the time I order a mobile surgical hospital and it is delivered?

Typically it takes about 3 to 4 months to manufacture a complete Unit. Multiple units can be built simultaneously depending on the size of the order.

Do I need a totally flat location to park a mobile clinic or can there be some slight undulations in the ground?

Though preferred it is certainly not necessary for the location site to be flat. All of the different types of Units have hydraulic leveling systems that can be adjusted for variations in the surface. One Unit was actually deployed for a Convention on a site that had a huge difference grade and slope.

What equipment do I need to purchase to make my mobile surgical unit complete?

The range of equipment that is provided with the Mobile Surgical Unit can vary from very little if the end user already has equipment to virtually everything needed. Typically if the end user does not have any equipment available we provide all equipment except specialty equipment, (such as a Phaco Machine for Cataract Surgery) and any hand held instruments.

How long after installation will you provide free technical support?

We certainly provide free technical support during the warranty period, (one or two years depending on the contract). We would always be available to assist in any resolution of any technical problem even after the warranty period as a courtesy to our customers.

Can I reconfigure the equipment in the unit once it's installed?

Sure, as long as it did not in any way violate the ability of the Unit to meet Regulatory Compliance issues for Licensure and Certification. Moving equipment and replacing equipment with other equipment should not be an issue as long as the equipment is appropriate for it's use.

Are the electrical components and outlets able to be wired for other countries' plug configurations and voltage requirements?

Yes, during the manufacturing process we can certainly substitute different power systems and transformers to match the electrical requirements of any country. We can also provide the proper outlets and electrical motors as well as external connectors.

Is there a written guarantee that the unit I order will be to my exact requirements?

We will work with you to insure that your requirements are met and more importantly that the regulatory requirements are satisfied so that your Unit can be in compliance for the health care regulations of your specific location. We will provide a very detailed set of specifications to insure that the requirements are defined. We will guarantee that we will meet these exact requirements.

What are the limitations of a mobile surgical facility versus a brick-and-mortar building?

The only limitation of a Mobile Surgical Facility versus a brick-and-mortar building is the fact that we have to work within the limitations imposed by the fact that we must be able to transport the mobile unit in it's closed configuration. The internal environment presents no limitations in comparison to a comparable fixed location facility.

Can it remain a mobile unit indefinitely?

Yes, from a functional point of view it can. There may be some regulatory situations where a Unit might be licensed for temporary use during for instance a hospital renovation. This restriction is purely driven by regulations and is not a physical restriction.

What makes your mobile surgical hospital superior to other units available?

These Units were designed specifically to meet Regulatory Compliance issues to meet the requirements for State Licensure and Medicare Certification so that they are as safe for patients as they can possibly be. Our Units are under constant evaluation for improvements and we incorporate all new features and upgrades in the latest versions. We also provide an upgrade path for future implementation of new advanced in telemedicine and computer technology by providing a robust wired infrastructure.
